Hong Kong Restaurant - Crossroad Shopping Center, 901 Carpenter Road

My friend and I arrived and were seated promptly waited about 5 minutes when server came over and took drink and appetizer order.

Appetizer - Deep Fried Cream Cheese Wontons - reasonable wait, very light and fluffy had great flavor.
Rating - 4 Stars

Entree - Garlic Chicken - comes with pork chow mien and pork fried rice

Pork Chow Mien - greasy, little flavor, and it had a residual burnt popcorn taste like the wok was not cleaned after burning popcorn in it and then cooked the chow mien. Rating - 1 Star

Pork Fried Rice - dry and bland needed lots of soy sauce and pepper to cheer it up. Rating - 1 Star

Garlic Chicken - where do I start, Ok typically I only review one entree, but need to review both here so you understand. I had Garlic Chicken, my friend had Orange Chicken.  Both dishes included the same chicken and a flavored sauce poured over it, yes poured over it, not even tossed in a wok to evenly coat to, chicken dropped on plate and sauce poured over.  The garlic sauce had full slices of garlic in it  (see picture) and was an odd brown color. The flavor was ok if you took the larger slices of garlic out.  My friends orange chicken tasted like pancakes with maple syrup on them. It's not a good thing when you wish that you had more of your appetizer left as that was the best part of the meal. Rating - 1 Star

Service - wasn't great yo have to ask for refills it's not automatic. Rating - 3 Stars

Overall Rating - 2 Stars - the only reason it got 2 stars was for the appetizer and average service, this will not be a place on my list of top places to eat out at

UNO Pizzeria & Grill - Dale Road location

Arrival - Promptly greeted and seated

Seated - Under 1 minute for server to introduce herself, took or drink order

Appetizers - once server returned with our drinks we placed an appetizer order - Onion Rings with Fireball Whiskey BBQ sauce and Chipotle Mayo - arrived in a reasonable amount of time, tasted great, preferred the BBQ sauce over the Mayo sauce - Portion size could have been larger for the price, also requested additional napkins and never received.  Rating - 3.5 Stars

Entree - Individual SHROOM Deep Dish Pizza w/Italian Wedding Soup -
Italian Wedding Soup -
Pizza is served with sautéed mushroom, spinach, dished tomatoes, and parmesian cheese no sauce.

This is where things started going downhill. After waiting 15 minutes the entree arrived, with no soup, when server arrived to see how things were I asked about the soup and she admitted she ordered It but forgot to deliver it and asked if I still wanted it I said yes.  After the soup arrived the manager came by apologized and let us know he took the soup off the bill.  Server returned once while eating to check if all was ok, then disappeared.

Soup - I had not had this before it's a vegetable based soup with a clear broth and sausage pieces and small pasta balls. Great taste and it came with a breadstick - Rating - 4 Stars

Pizza - with the absence of sauce one would think it would be a bit on the dry side, but it was not, mushrooms were plumb and juicy with great flavor and a nice deep dish pizza crust - Rating - 4.5 Stars

Service - started well finished slow, even with managers removal of the soup. Service Rating - 3 Stars

Side note - every time you looked at the manager he had his cell phone in hand (not good), even when he came to our table he was putting it in his pocket as he got here

Overall Ratimg - 3.5 Stars
